  Vegetable Ghee Content

Made from a blend of vegetable oils which was processed to imitate ghee in texture and flavor.

Palm oil and its products gives the required solid fats content and texture of vegetable ghee without the need of hydrogenation.

Vegetable Ghee imitates the characteristics (flavor, texture) of butter.

Other ingredients like flavor, color, vitamins and anti-oxidants may be added.

Vegetable Ghee (Danger Free)

Naturally semi-solid oil: palm oil and palm stearin have natural solids content and therefore require no hydrogenation. The products are free from trans fatty acids.

Healthy alternative to butter.

Ghee gains further nutritional value because it's lactose free, making it a safer alternative for those who are lactose intolerant.

The commonly used shortening types are Plain shortening (Non Hydrogenated), hydrogenated shortening, aerated shortening, Frying shortening and liquid shortening.

All purpose plain shortening is used for baked food items like biscuit, cookies, dumplings, pudding etc. Hydrogenated shortening is used for special application where plasticity and keeping firm texture like icings, spice stocks, filings, cakes and yeast raised products etc. For special application hydrogenated shortening is aerated by mixing controlled quantity of Nitrogen gas to make it fluffy for making the baked item spongy texture.

The liquid shortening is used for frying food items like doughnuts, tortilla, cheese crackers and other snacks items.
